Abstract
The variety is suitable for annual, non-seedling growing and ripens relatively early. It has a vegetation period of 100 to 105 days. The average output per decare is 1,600 to 1,800 kg per decare. It is highly suitable for conservation and retains its qualities till the end of March. Because of the high degree of resistance, no spraying against mildew is necessary. The plants are vital with intermediately thick fictitious stem. The leaves are eight to nine, well-developed, erect, 35 to 40 cm long, dark green, with strong wax film and resistant to blight. The flower-carrying stems are 100 to 110 cm high, with normal flowers that are not susceptible to mildew. The bulb is of medium size - between 60 to 80 g, with flat to round shape, index N/D = 0.7-0.85. The cover husks are three, with copper-brown colouring, strong, compact and well-glued. The meat husks are white to pale creamy, tender, with moderately sharp taste. The content of the dry substance is between 12.5 to 13.25 per cent, while that of the overall sugars - between 7.92 to 9.18 per cent.
