Abstract
The apparatus is applicable in the water purification industry. It increases the efficiency and treatment speed, as well as the term of the disinfection effect and prevents secondary infection. The apparatus consists of a cell (1) with peripheral magnetic sections (12 and 13), which are parallel to the flow of the liquid, and a central magnetic section (15), inclined towards sections (12 and 13). Each section (12, 13, and 15) contains consecutively and sign-alternatively arranged magnets, which are sign-alternatively oriented towards the magnets of the adjacent section. A pair (16 and 17) of ion-producing electrodes, made from silver and/or copper, is placed between the central (15) and the peripheral (12 and 13) sections.
