Abstract
This manipulator is used in the automation of main and auxiliary operations in various fields of industry, building construction and maintenance, ship repair, scientific research, difficult terrains and conditions that are dangerous to humans, etc. It is designed for movement along terrains and surfaces without limitations, depending on the slope. It is also used for carrying out operations requiring flexibility of the operator. It is capable of moving and undertaking operations via a unified - functionally and constructively - operative and executive part. The manipulator consists of a clutching device (1), to which are connected identical orientation modules (2), while to the latter is connected a second identical clutching device (3). The clutching device is vacuum-creating, electromagnetic, electromechanical or a combination of these.
