Abstract

The method applies to the agrochemical maintenance of soils and in the studies for their chemical pollution with reference to environmental protection. It allows an adequately complete extraction of the mobile P, Ca, Mg, K, Na, Fe, Mn, Cu and Zn forms, can be applied for both carbonate-free and carbonate soils and it does not require the repeated processing of the soil sample, the extracts obtained are colourless and do not require treatment with a special activated carbon as well as processing for the separation of CO2. By this method, the soil sample is extracted with a 0.2-1.0 n water solution of ammonium malate with pH of 5.0-7.0 for 15 min to 2 h 30 min ,at ratio of the soil, in grammes to the solution, in cm<3>,from 1:2 to 1:50.
