Abstract
The device is designed for the welding of pipe shaped details with a closed contour of their cross-section. It assures a high effectiveness of the magnet system, as a cause of which the quality of the welded compounds improves. The device includes double-part grips (1 and 2) placed on both sides of the welding interspace (3). On both sides of the welding interspace (3), between the grips (1 and 2), are placed coils (4 and 5). Symmetrically on the welding interspace (3), around the welded details (6 and 7), is placed a flat magnetic circuit (8) made of a ferromagnetic material. The magnetic circuit (8) can either be monolithic or sectoral.
