The medium is used for the spawn's artificial impregnation in trout breeding. It provides that the sexual products are normally mixed and thus achieve higher fertility of the spawn. The milieu consists of sucrose from 4 to 10 g, gelatine 0.5-2 g and the remainder is water of up to 100 ml.
