Abstract

The welding head is applied in installation works at the construction of highway pipes for the welding of two static tubes. It welds various diameters of tubes without carrying out any retuning, as well as an active adaptation of the burner against the surface of the welded tubes and a change of regime in accordance with the spacial positioning for welding. The welding head contains a corpus (1), to which jaws are fitted for grasping the welded tubes (2), which are located in a directive (16), fixed to the blocs (7), fitted to the corpus (1). The jaws (2) are supplied with a nut - respectively with a left (3) and a right (4) threading, which are coiled onto a motive bolt (8) fitted in the two edges of the blocs (7). To the motive bolt (8), a handle (9) is fixed, while to a cog ring (23) is fitted a protective shield (24), connected via a needle (25) with a fittable handle (27), on which jointly is stitched a motive shoulder (28). Between the protective shield (24) and the motive shoulder (28) are placed a stretching (29) and pressurizing (26) spring. To the motive shoulder (28), a holder (30) is fixed, to which are fitted a limiter (32) and a burner (31). To the corpus (1), a location gauge (33) is placed, connected together with the power engine (11) to a navigating device.
