Abstract
The prepared complex salts are used for fungicide treatment of cellulose-based textile materials by means of double fulardization and thermal treatment. The general formula of the complex salt is [A<n+>] [B<->]n, in which the values of n range between 1 and 3, A is diphenyl guanidine or o-tolylbis guanidine cation, and B is 2-hydroxybiphenyl or 5-nitro-8-oxyquinoline anion. The method involves mixing, at stoichiometric ratios, a solution of the alkali salt of 2-hydroxybiphenyl or 5-nitro-8-oxyquinoline with an aqueous solution of the acetic acid salt of diphenyl guanidine or o-tolylbis guanidine.
