Abstract

The vaginal protector finds application in protecting the female reproductive system against fungal and bacterial infections caused by contact with water in natural or artificial reservoirs, as well as against penetration of chemicals and other aqueous additives. The vaginal protector includes a thin-walled, elastic, hollow body made of material harmless to the internal environment of the body, made of a cylindrical section (1), after which there is a section with a widening in the form of a rounded transverse ring (2) which passes smoothly into a guide (3) with a pointed tip lying on the axis of the cylindrical section (1). To the other end of the hollow cylindrical section (1) there is a stopper (4) fixed hermetically and moisture-proof, formed as a flat ring with the possibility to cover the labia minora and to close the vaginal vestibule of the woman. A diametrically arranged strip is formed to the inner diameter of the ring (4), on both sides of which there are holes formed, providing connection of the water from the reservoir with the inside of the hollow body.

The vaginal protector is used to protect the female reproductive system from fungal and bacterial infections caused by contact with water in natural or artificial bodies of water.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

There is no known vaginal protector to protect the female reproductive system from fungal and bacterial infections caused by contact with water in natural or artificial bodies of water.

A vaginal protector is known [1], which is designed to protect the reproductive system of bedridden women from fungal and bacterial infections. The vaginal protector contains a hollow cylindrical body closed at one end, which is intended for insertion into the vagina. The hollow cylindrical body at its other end is hermetically and watertightly connected to a protective plate that covers the labia of the lying sick woman. The axis of the hollow cylindrical body is perpendicular to the plane of the protective plate. An opening is formed in the protective plate for the urine excreted by the woman.

A vaginal protector is known [2], which is designed to protect a woman's reproductive system from sexually transmitted diseases. The protector consists of an elastic body covering the penis, which elastic body is hermetically and watertightly connected to a flat protective plate that covers a woman's labia.

Technical essence of the utility model

The task of the utility model is to create a vaginal protector to protect the female reproductive system from fungal and bacterial infections caused by contact with water in natural or artificial bodies of water.

This task is solved by means of a vaginal protector, which includes a thin-walled, elastic, hollow body of harmless to the internal environment of the body material formed by a cylindrical section, followed by a section with a widening in the form of a rounded annular rib, which smoothly passes into a guide with a pointed tip lying on the axis of the cylindrical section. To the other end of the hollow cylindrical section is fixed, hermetically and moisture-tightly connected stopper, shaped like a flat ring, which is able to cover the small labia of the woman. A diametrically arranged strip is formed to the inner diameter of the ring, on both sides of which holes are formed, providing connection of the water from the reservoir with the inside of the cylindrical section.

It is recommended that the total length of the cylindrical section, the rounded annular rib and the guide be in the range from 50 mm to 75 mm.

It is recommended that the cylindrical section have an outer diameter of 15 mm to 30 mm. It is recommended that the rounded annular rib have an outer diameter of 38 mm to 45 mm.

It is recommended that the flat stopper ring has an outer diameter of 30 mm to 50 mm.

The cylindrical section 1 has an outer diameter of 20 mm. The rounded annular rib 2 has a diameter of 45 mm. To the other end of the hollow cylindrical section 1 is fixedly, hermetically and moisture-tightly connected a stopper 4, formed as a flat ring with an outer diameter of 30 mm, which is able to cover the small labia of the woman. A diametrically arranged strip is formed to the inner diameter of the ring 4, on both sides of which holes are formed, providing connection of the water from the reservoir with the inside of the cylindrical section 1. The cylindrical section 1, the rounded annular rib 2 and the guide 3 have a total length of 75 mm .

Using the utility model

The placement of the vaginal protector in a woman's vagina can be done at home or in a public toilet. Placement can be done in a lying, sitting, squatting or standing position of the woman. In order to place the pre-disinfected vaginal protector in the vagina, the rounded annular rib 2 is first folded and the hollow body is placed in the vagina, whereby the rounded annular rib 2 dissolves only and assumes its original shape. During insertion, the pointed tip guide 3 facilitates the smooth penetration of the vaginal protector into the woman's vagina.

The stopper 4 seals the entrance of the vagina from the outside and prevents the complete entry of the tread into it. The rounded annular rib 2 stands about 15 mm from the cervix and stabilizes the position of the vaginal protector in the woman's vagina. At the same time, it prevents the vaginal protector from coming out of the vagina during swimming. When using the vaginal protector in an aqueous medium, the water enters the hollow body instead of the woman's vagina. Because the hollow body is made of elastic material, it adapts to the woman's physiology, thus avoiding the creation of vacuum pressure when the woman moves in the aquatic environment and does not create the unpleasant feeling of a foreign body in her vagina.

Removal of the vaginal protector is performed by grasping the stopper strap 4 and pulling it out of the woman's vagina. To facilitate the removal of the vaginal protector, the woman can lightly press the wall of the cylindrical section 1 with her finger, thus releasing the vacuum created between it and the vaginal wall.

As the vaginal protector is reusable, after its removal it must be cleaned and disinfected and kept in this condition before its next use.

Vaginal protector, characterized in that it comprises a thin-walled, elastic, hollow body of material harmless to the internal environment of the body, formed by a cylindrical section (1), followed by a section with a widening in the form of a rounded annular rib (2) ), which smoothly passes into a guide (3) with a pointed tip lying on the axis of the cylindrical section (1), and to the other end of the hollow cylindrical section (1) is fixed, hermetically and moisture-tight stopper (4) shaped like a flat a ring which is capable of covering the small labia of the woman, wherein a diametrically arranged strip is formed towards the inner diameter of the ring (4), on both sides of which openings are formed, providing connection of the water from the reservoir with the inside of the cylindrical section (1).
