The grenade is intended for urgent extinguishing of spreading fire on closed premises or not large volumes. There are two possible modes of ejecting the fire extinguishing powder -- as an explosion and as a spray. The grenade comprises an externally furrowed rupture casing (18) with a squib (3) placed therein, such squib consisting of a universal fuse (2), a pyrotechnical timer (6), and a gas generating pyrotechnical charge (9), all they being connected in a fire mode. The volume between the squib (3) with the charge (9) and the inner surface of the rupture casing (18) is filled up with fire extinguishing powder (11), which gets ejected after actuation through the nozzles (15) arranged at an angle and along a tangent. The nozzles (15) are situated on the top conical surface of the rupture casing (18).
