Abstract

The invention relates to a composition of a reagent affecting hail clouds with the intention of hailstorm prevention and weather modification in the field of agriculture for the prevention of any unfavourable atmospheric processes and the protection of farm crops. The composition is ecologically clean, having high content of active ice-forming nuclei, which ensures the firing of smaller reagent pressed forms, thus using a smaller transport vehicle and having a much safer rocket in operation and in emergency cases. The reagent is a composition comprising the following components, in wt.%: silver iodide (AgJ) from 9 to 13.8, ammonium iodite (NH4J) from 5 to 7, potassium iodite (KJ) from 6 to 9, copper iodite (CuJ) from 3 to 6 and ferrosilicon (Fe Si) from 5 to 9, ammonium perchlorate (NH4Cl4) as oxidant from 50 to 51, binder - borofen (editolic resin) from 12.7 to 13.
