Abstract
The machine is designed for polishing stonework flooring. It comprises a trailer with a handle and housing with a casing to which a motor is mounted and has a resting drum (1) with operating spindles. The motor, by means of a central shaft (3) and a belt pulley (4), drives by means of a one-sided chain belt (5) the satellite spindles (2), and deviation rollers (6) ensure the required engagement of the belt pulleys and the tensioning of belt (5). As a result of the reactions caused by the process of grinding, drum (1) revolves in opposite direction and the tools receive a complex planetary motion. By means of a folding lever the machine vertically straightens its rear support. A floating protection loop ensures the protection from sparks and dust regardless of the height of the tool. The removal of dust to its aspiration unit gets through the trunk of the handle. Flexible radial propellers, mounted on the lower cover, clear the space in front of the tools. Lighting luminaire is envisaged to ensure the local lighting when the operation is performed in insufficiently lighted areas.
