Abstract
The modular concentration optic system is designed for the concentration of parallel light beams in several ways. It can be folded in a passive position and be unfolded in operating position. The system is built of multiple identical or similar elements consisting of reflection surfaces in the form of a concentration parabola (1) and a functional curve, executed in the form of collimation parabola (2) or concentration hyperbola (3). To the functional curve (2, 3) an additional dissipation area (4, 5) is envisaged enabling the folding of the system in a collected form. Between area (4, 5), the concentration (1) and functioning (2, 3) curve a closed space (6) can be formed, which can be used for forced cooling. 15 claims, 16 figures
