Abstract

The additional locking device is designed for a door lock and is remote controlled, thus increasing the degree of safety and reliability of a lock of a safe type, against any unauthorized opening by the traditional means. The device can also be applied to a project where the entry of two persons at the same time is required, avoiding any individual access, without requiring a second lock or any other locking device. The supplementary locking device, comprising an electric magnet (2), anchor (3) and spring (4), lock the tongue (1) of a door lock of safe type by its anchor (3). For unlocking, freeing of the tongue (1) is required by an electric signal from the remote control unit receiver (6) which lifts anchor (3). The remote control receiver (6) is actuated at some distance away from the remote control transmitter (8). After locking using the key of the door lock, anchor (3), by means of spring (4) of the supplementary locking device, automatically drops and locks tongue (1). A new signal from the remote control transmitter (8) is required to raise the anchor (3), and overcoming the resistance of spring (4) to unlock the tongue (1). 1 claim, 1 figure
