It shall find application as a means for reducing the blood sugar level for improving the blood circulation and the circulation of blood in the veins and the capillary system of the limbs in diabetics, for increasing the level of the bad cholesterol, for increasing the concentration of the good cholesterol, for maintaining the cardiovascular and the hepatic activity with additional prophylactic or therapeutic effect on the immune system and the immune protection. The substance is a combination of biologically active trivalent chromium and a complex of steroid saponins from the plant Tribulos Terrestris L., consisting of furostanols. sapogenenins, sterols flavonoids and other biologically active substances characteristic of the said plant. 9 claims
