Abstract

The composite material is designed for roofing and bottom insulation partitions in building of depots for residential and industrial wastes, as well as for the lower part of the construction of third-class internal motorcar roads. The material is a mixture of accessible aggregate fillers, including industrial wastes of deep crude oil processing. The composition of the material is as follows: gravel fraction 5/10 from 15 to 25; gravel fraction 0/5 from 40 to 60; bentonite from 2 to 6; powder silica from 10 to 20 and binder 9-13 wt. pts per 100 wt. pts mineral filler. The material is prepared and laid using the classical technology being identical o that of the preparation and laying of asphalt concrete. The mineral fillers are heated to 110-120 degrees C and are homogenized with the binder, headed to 110 degrees C. Laying and rolling is made using conventional road building machines. The composite material indicates filtration coefficient of exceptionally low values Cf = 5.10-11 - 5.10-10 m/s and diffusion coefficient Cd = 5.10-11 m/s for a continuous period of time. 4 claims, 2 figures
