Abstract

The fuse is designed to make up, different in construction, hollow-charge, high explosive, chemical (including thermobaric), smoke and other ammunition to different weapons and systems of armament, as well as multifunctional ammunition of tandem or cassette type. The fuse (1) is fabricated as an integral part with autonomous piezogenerator (2), mounted to a housing (6) of the fuse, in which unified modules for initial and long-distance extraction and protection, and in the detonation circuit of the fuse (1) two independently acting circuits of explosion are included. The first one is piezoelectric actuation, which is ensured by a standard electrodetonator, fitted centrally in the housing of the fuse, and the second one is fabricated as a standard inertia destruction mechanism, selected as a rule, to have such sensitivity and time of actuation so as to be able to explode the electrodetonator under most unfavorable conditions of meeting the target (obstacle) after a predetermined time delay in case the faster actuating piezoelectric circuit has not been actuated. The fuse has a detonator booster, actuated by the electrodetonator and ensuring higher power of the blast wave, initating in the most suitable way the detonator module, following it, which guarantees its uniform and reliable operation. 5 claims, 5 figures
