Abstract

The invention concerns a method for marking (A, B) and authenticating (C) an object (10) comprising the combination of two different data (K, N) mutually linked by means of a given arbitrary correspondence and use for authenticating the object at least one of the two data (K) being intrinsically undetectable by an observer, the scanning of the two data and the verification of their mutual correspondence being performed during authentication of the object.
