Abstract
The insecticidal composition contains one insecticidal active ingredient to which insect pests have developed certain resistance, insecticidally inert carrier or solvent, optionally one or more surfactants, as well as sufficient quantity of a compound with the formula where A is bidentate group with the formula CH2CH2 or CH=CH; Ar is phenyl, pyridinyl, pyridazinyl or pyrazinyl, all optionally substituted with halogen, C1-4 alkyl, C1-4 alkoxy, C2-4 alkenyl or cyano; R is hydrogen, C1-4 alkyl (optionally substituted with cyano, CO2(C1-4 alkyl) or phenyl (optionally substituted by halogen, C1-4 alkyl, C1-4 alkoxy, C1-4 haloalkyl or C1-4 haloalkoxy), C2-4 haloalkyl (alpha -carbon is unsubstituted), C3-4 alkenyl; provided that when R is alkenyl or alkynyl this group has no unsaturated carbon atom directly bound to nitrogen in the ring or its acidic adjunctive salt, quaternary ammonium salt or N-oxide. The additives serve for increasing the activity of the composition and surmounting of its resistance to insect pests. The invention also relates to a method for using the composition for insect pest control. 5 claims
