Чипкартата съдържа памет, в която е запомнена необходимата информация (данни) за осъществяване на сделките, и затова е предвидено устройство за зареждане на картата с една или повече заявки откарта (VAS заявки), които имат за цел да разрешават осъществяването на сделките между притежателя на картата и един или повече изпълнители на услуги.
