Abstract
The invention relates to an antibacterial, antimycotic formulation which is a complex of unsubstituted di- and tetrasubstituted derivatives of dithiooxamides with metals of groups I to VIII which suppress the bacterial and the microscopic fingi growth. The complexes are used as biocides for water and reduce the microbial number over 98% in comparison with an untreated control, the effect being reduced to a period of 3 months.
