EMI2.1
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
ontoereikende blokkeringswerking.
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>

EMI2.1
The invention relates to a method and a medium for blocking mineralized and / or acid-containing water supply streams from aquifers, in particular from crevices or porous solid rocks, to mining quarries or other mining outcrops.
As is known, the supply of water from groundwater-carrying layers to mining sites or mining quarries is prevented by draining the water from the relevant groundwater conductors.
Such methods filter source dewatering, layer dewatering and combined low-fall filter resp. low-pitch filter dewatering.
Further methods of preventing water from flowing in are known with the so-called sealing methods, such as the creation of sealing walls and the injection of sealing media into the pore space of the groundwater conductors. The said processes essentially keep the influx of water to the mining sites within the desired limits.
The disadvantage of these working methods is the enormous material and technological investments. The dewatering processes by filter wells or dewatering layers move large amounts of water to drain the mining sites, thereby simultaneously affecting large areas untouched by mining operations and consequently being damaged by dewatering. In addition to the stationary water, the water supply from the catchment area, the dynamic water, must be constantly moved.
The hitherto known closing processes have substantially high technological drawbacks, or limitations with regard to the blocking depth, respectively. major material disadvantages for blocking agents to be injected, such as synthetic resins, polymers or other pore-blocking substances (East German patent 21 902; German patent application 25 44 543) op. The technology that uses sealing walls is defective due to the limited sealing depth. Underlayed sealing walls, which do not include all groundwater conductors, have a
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
inadequate blocking effect.
The object of the invention is to reduce or block the mineralized and / or acid-containing water supply flow from aquifers, in particular from crevices or porous solid rocks to mining quarries or other mining outcrops, while avoiding or avoiding the aforementioned drawbacks of the known methods, respectively. . material investments are reduced.
The object of the invention is to prevent the mineralized and / or acidic water supply flow from layers to mining sites or mining quarries by pressing suitable treatment media into the aquifers.
According to the invention, in order to uniformly reach and seal all the layer areas to be sealed, a homogeneous complex treatment liquid is prepared, the preparation / mixing of which takes place outside the injection members for the introduction of the blocking media.
After the treatment liquid has been uniformly squeezed through the bores into groundwater conductors covered by binding layers, a gas for forming a blocking phase dispersion (foaming) is injected in a pre-calculated volume.
The discharge pressure to be used is at least 0.2 MPa less than the Frac pressure of the groundwater conductor resp. the covering layer.
The foaming process-promoting technological variants consist of the pre- and post-compression of gas with an injection of solution or resp. from a cyclic change of gas injections and solution injections. In this method, the blocking phase dispersion between gas and liquid is produced to a particularly high degree.
EMI3.1
The aqueous solution of surfactants which, in conjunction with gases, form finely divided stable foams with a relative 04 g / cm), are pressed horizontally as the treatment liquid into the water-carrying medium and are transferred in the foamed state with gas injections. According to pre-calculated concentrations, depending on the volume of the treatment liquid, a temporary blocking curtain for the groundwater builds up in the event of foam under the ground of said liquid.
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
The compositions of the treatment liquids are preferably selected such that the solutions contain 0.5-5.0% surfactant based on the treatment liquid. A non-ionic substance, such as ethoxylated fatty alcohols, or a mixture of non-ionic and ionic surfactants, such as amine salts, is used, the ionic part of the mixture being at most 5%.
To enhance the blocking action, stabilizers such as polymers, clay minerals or higher alcohols are optionally added in an amount of 0.01-0.5 wt. %, based on the treatment liquid.
The barriers created according to the present method lead to a reliable temporary blocking of the water in the groundwater conductors.
In contrast to the usual working methods, where large technological resp. If large material drawbacks occur, according to the invention the influx of water through foam, which fills the pore space, is protected. The foam fulfills high quality requirements with regard to the stability and resistance to the highly mineralized groundwater. Treatment fluids which form stable blocking foams in the pore space of the rocks under extreme pressure and temperature conditions and at high mineral and / or high acid concentrations in the solutions can be prepared by using appropriate surfactants.
The introduction of the blocking liquid and the gas is possible with little technical means. The method can be used as an independent blocking process or in combination with known solutions, such as blocking low areas at the base of sealing walls.
