Assemblage combustible nucléaire de construction modulaire comprenant au moins deux modules de sous-assemblage comportant chacun un module de pied d'assemblage (14). Un module de tete d'assemblage (18), une série de barres de combustible (12), au moins un module de grille d'espacement (16) des barres de combustible et au moins un long élément structural (22), les modules de pied d'assemblage (14), les modules de tete d'assemblage (18) et les modules de grille (16) des dives modules de sous-assemblage formant de façon complémentaire respectivement un pied d'assemblage complet, une tete d'assemblage complete, et une grille d'espacement complete.
