Abstract

The bicycle brake control rotates in two bearings on the handlebars, the cables to the front and rear brakes being attached to it. By turning it, both brakes are applied at the same time.

 <Desc/Clms Page number 2>

  Description of the front bicycle \.

  1, "Invention" Brake Handlebar The bicycle handlebar is pivotally mounted in two bearings on the stem. The brake cables of the front and rear brakes are attached to the handlebars with a clamping sleeve or with rotating fixing screws. The cable sheaths are held on the stem, in the provided holders. The brake cables and sheaths are attached to the two brakes as current.

  Now by turning the handlebars slightly forward or backward (depending on whether the sheathed cables are in front or at the back), the two brake cables are coiled on the handlebar and the two brakes are squeezed simultaneously.

 <Desc / Clms Page number 2>

  Advantages of this system a) Both brakes work simultaneously, even when braking with one hand. b) The brake levers and cables on the handlebars are lost. c) There is no longer any risk of brake levers stopping when cycling together. d) No more danger of scratching the brake levers on cars, walls, etc. ... e) No more risk of injury from the brake levers in the event of a fall. f) The brake cables can no longer be pulled off when removing remove the bicycle from the bicycle rack. g) The brake cables can practically no longer break. h) The brake cables can be cut to the required length from a roll of steel cable. i) The existing brake cables can also still be used.

     j) Lower cost price The actual patent therefore refers to the rotating movement of the bicycle handlebars, either to the front or back.
