Abstract

The protective helmet (10) has straps (14,15) attaching it to the wearer's head. A face mask (18) consists of a wide meshed grille. The top edge of the mask is movably attached to the front part of the helmet (10) by a flexible piece (19), such as a piece of leather. - The top edge of the mask is fixed to the case (11) by two screws (20) fitting into threaded holes (21).

   Examinant la figure 6, le casque protecteur est constitué d'un casque (10) ayant une tete (11) et un bouclier (12) intégra1 couvrant la nuque. Le casque (10) peut etre fabriqué d'une matière plastique rigide et robuste, résistant aux coups durs, ou d'une autre matière ayant les mêmes pro- piétés. 



   L'intérieur du casque peut être ouaté ou muni d'un filet serre-tete conventionnel afin de coussiner la tête du porteur. 



   Ensuite, le casque comporte un couvre-menton (13) attaché au casque (10) avec des courroies (14 et 15), lesquelles sont ajustables en longeur au moyen de boucles (16 et
17) pour s'adapter au porteur. 



   Examinant les figures 1 à 5, le casque protecteur comporte aussi un masque facial (18) consistant en une grille à grandes mailles. Le bord supérieur du masque facial (18) est attaché de manière amovible au bord avant de la tête (11) du casque (10) au moyen d'une petite pièce de cuir (19), ou d'une autre matière, ayant une flexibilité suffisante, qui permet d'accrocher le bord supérieur du masque (18.) et qui est fixée à la tête (11) au moyen de deux vis (20) s'engageantdansdesmortaises filetées (21) (figure 6) prévues dans la tête (11). 



   A l'emploi, le masque facial (18) est bouclé devant le visage du porteur à l'aide d'une courroie (22), laquelle est fixée au milieu du bord inférieur du masque facial (18) et dont les bouts   peuvent être ajustablement liésautour de la   nuque du porteur.

   Examining FIG. 6, the protective helmet consists of a helmet (10) having a head (11) and a shield (12) integra1 covering the nape of the neck. The helmet (10) can be made of a rigid and robust plastic material, resistant to hard knocks, or of another material having the same properties.



   The interior of the helmet can be padded or fitted with a conventional headband net to cushion the wearer's head.



   Then, the helmet comprises a chin cover (13) attached to the helmet (10) with straps (14 and 15), which are adjustable in length by means of loops (16 and
17) to fit the wearer.



   Examining Figures 1 to 5, the protective helmet also includes a facial mask (18) consisting of a grid with large mesh. The upper edge of the facial mask (18) is removably attached to the front edge of the head (11) of the helmet (10) by means of a small piece of leather (19), or other material, having a sufficient flexibility, which allows to hang the upper edge of the mask (18.) and which is fixed to the head (11) by means of two screws (20) engaging in threaded mortises (21) (figure 6) provided in the head (11).



   In use, the facial mask (18) is buckled in front of the wearer's face using a strap (22), which is fixed in the middle of the lower edge of the facial mask (18) and the ends of which can be adjustable around the wearer's neck.
