Abstract

Procédé pour la synthèse de copolymères en bloc du type ABC, dans lesquels : A est une séquence homopolymère d'un monomère vinylique tel que, par exemple, le styrène, l' -méthylstyrène, le vinyldiphényle, l'isopropényldiphényle, le vinylnaphtalène, l'isopropénylnaphtalène; B est une séquence homopolymère d'un monomère diénique ou d'un de ses produits hydrogénés, et C est une séquence homopolymère de pivalolactone (PVL). Le procédé est constitué par trois étapes : 1) polymérisation de la séquence vinlique ; 2) addition de la séquence diénique sur la séquence vinylique, au moyen de la polymérisation ultérieure du diène; 3) carboxylation de la section AB, traitement avec un sel téraalkylammonium et polymérisation de la pivalolactone. These block copolymers have the properties typical of thermoelastomeric products.
