Abstract
The mounting comprises a moulding covering the mounting bolt which extends into a tongue. The tongue carries a projection which engages into the seat belt mounting buckle in order to retain the belt at a predetermined length. - When the occupant is seated in the vehicle with the belt fastened, he can space the belt a few centimetres from his chest and then press on the tongue forcing the projection into the buckle, thereby locking the belt and preventing its withdrawal back onto the reel. The projection is released by pulling on the tongue or on the belt.
Description
<EMI ID=1.1>

Advanced belt fastening system
safety reel.
The object of the present invention is an improved fastening system for the high point of retractable seat belts.
My invention consists of:
a cover, intended to cover the bolt of the upper fixing of the retractable seat belt, extended by a tongue carrying a stud or a
<EMI ID = 1.1>
The instructions are as follows:
- when the driver or passenger is seated, seat belt fastened, he can spread the seat belt of his chest by the desired number of centimeters. Then, with one hand, he presses on the tongue and introduces the stud or wedge into the space existing between the seat belt and the upper part of the fastening buckle, or into a slot specially provided for this purpose.
- the belt is released by pulling on the tongue or on the belt itself. The shape of the nipple or wedge is adapted according to the desired goal (resistance to unlocking).
This fixing system makes it possible to correct two drawbacks of
the retractable seat belt:
- some people feel oppressed by their belt and therefore tend not to wear it.
- intensive use of the retractable seat belt prematurely wears clothes at places of friction.
Several possibilities for implementing this fixing system are possible, three of which are given in the explanatory diagrams:
1) modification of the cover used in the original vehicle.
2) modification of the original cover and ring, with addition
a special slot.

of origin.
The novelty of this invention lies in the fact that this seat belt locking system is fixed to the car and is very easily released.
Summary :
This invention is a system integral with the car which makes it possible to wedge the seat belt at a desired location by the introduction of a locking piece in the fixing ring.
