Abstract
The plastics ventilation panel (1) is intended for placing in the opening above a partly open car window (6). It is double-walled and provided with openings (3) in the outer wall which are offset relative to openings (2) in its inner wall. - The lower edge (5) of the panel has a groove capable of receiving the upper edge of the window. The upper panel edge fits in the groove of the horizontal upper window frame member (4).

Beschrijving.
Het paneel is dubbelwandig met tussenin een afstand gelijk aan de dikte van het glas in de autodeur. De bovenkant, evenals de linker en bechterzijde passen in de rand waarin de normale ruit moet passen. De onderkant steunt op en over het glas van de gedeeltelijk geopende ruit, met een groef. In het paneel zijn aan de onderkant en buitenkant cirkelvormmge verluchtingsopeningen aanwezig.
Aan de binnenkant, van de wagen, zijn op een hoger niveau eveneens verluchtingscirkels aangebracht. Het geheel wordt vervaardigd van al dan niet gekleurd plastiek. Stevig materiaal is nodig. Het inplaatsen van het paneel is zeer eenvoudig. Men draait de ruit voldoende omlaag en schuift, eerst schuin en daarna recht in de raamgroeven en draait dan de ruit tegen en in de groeg van het paneel.
Voordelen 1. Het paneel dient voor de verluchting van de passagiers- ruimte en dit voor mens en dier.
2. Het paneel vervangt het gedeeltelijk geopende raam.
3. Diefstal, uit de wagen, wordt alleszins ernstig be- perkt en het paneel moet dus niet verwijderd worden bij het parkeren.
4. Waterinslag bij regen of wassen is onmogelijk geworden.
Besluit : Het inschuif-verluchtings- en veiligheidspaneel voor autodeuren zorgt voor een diefstalveilige en toch degelijke verluchting zonder hinder bij regen of wassen.

Description.
The panel is double-walled with a distance equal to the thickness of the glass in the car door. The top, as well as the left and right sides, fit in the edge in which the normal window pane must fit. The bottom rests on and over the glass of the partially opened window, with a groove. Circular ventilation openings are present in the panel on the bottom and outside.
At the higher level, ventilation circles are also fitted on the inside of the car. The whole is made of colored or uncoloured plastic. Sturdy material is needed. Placing the panel is very easy. The glass pane is lowered and slid sufficiently, first at an angle and then straight into the window grooves and then the glass pane is turned against and into the groove of the panel.
