"Maandverband, wegwerpluier of dergelijk voorwerp, met verbeterde hygiënische eigenschappen" Deze uitvinding heeft betrekking op
een maandverband, een wégwerpluier of een dergelijk voorwerp met verbeterde hygiënische eigenschappen.
Het doel van de uitvinding is een maandverband voor te schrijven,zodanig gestructureerd
dat het na gebruik in de gevouwen toestand', en als het
ware verpakt, kan worden weggegooid.
Te dien einde bestaat het maandverband volgens de uitvinding uit een strook absorberend materiaalmet minstens zijdelings in de langsrichting van bedoe lde s trook uits tekende , langs één z i jde ze lfk levende, randen, één en ander zodanig dat, na gebruik, het verband, middendoor en in de dwarsrichting, geplooid kan worden terwijl de zelfklevende randen tegen elkaar kunnen worden aangedrukt waardoor het verband in de gesloten toestand kan weggeworpen worden.
Volgens een voordelige verwezenlijkingsvorm van de uitvinding behoren hogerbedoelde uitstekende zelfklevende randen tot een folie ondoordringbaar materiaal dat met hogerbedoeld absorberend materiaal is verenigd.
Voordelig komen hogerbedoelde uits tekende ze lfklevende randen ook langs de twee dwarse uiteinden van hogerbedoelde strook absorberend materiaal voor.
Andere details en voordelen van de uitvinding zullen blijken uit de hiernavolgende beschrijving van een maandverband volgens de uitvinding. Deze beschrijving wordt uitsluitend bij wijze van voorbeeld gegeven en beperkt in geen geval de uitvinding. De beschrijving verwijst naar de hierbijgaande figuren.

folie (2) geschiedt door gebruik te maken van één of andere techniek die het mogelijk maakt cellulosea chtige stoffen aan de bijvoorbeeld uit een polymeer bestaande folie (2) te hechten.

Deze folie vertoont zowel in de langsrichting als in de dwarsrichting uitstekende randen. Ter verduidelijking van de beschrijving worden de uitstekende randen die in de langsrichting langs beide zijden van de

aangeduid. De uitstekende randen die langs beide uit-einden van de strook (1), d.i. in de dwarsrichting voorkomen, werden met de verwijzing (5-5') aangeduid. waarover deze randen zijn omgeplooid. Figuur 1, die het verband laat zien zoals het wordt afgeleverd en vóór het gebruik voorkomt, laat dit duidelijk zien.
De randen (5-5') die naar binnen zijn gevouwen, houden de randen (3-3' en 4-4') in de omgeplooide stand zoals deze in figuur 1 is afgebeeld, goed
op hun plaats.
Op de folie (2) alsook over de omgeplooide randen (3-3' , 4-4' en 5-5') komt een vel gesiliconeerd papier (10) voor dat bij het gebruik van het maandverband eerst wordt afgetrokken. In figuur 1 is dit vel gesiliconeerd papier gedeeltelijk getekend zoda t deze figuur betrekking heeft zowel op het maandverband zoals
het wordt afgeleverd, d.i. met het vel gesiliconeerd papier als in de stand waarin het wordt gebruikt. Figuur 1 vertoont dus de rugzijde van het maandverband in tegenstelling tot de figuren 2 en 3 die het t.o.v. figuur 1 omgekeerd maandverband laten zien met de strook absorberend materiaal langs de bovenzijde.
In de gebruiksstand komen de zelf klevende randen (3-3', 4-4' en 5-5') dus aan de andere zijde voor t.o.v. de absorberende strook (1).
De zelfklevende stroken adhereren goed aan weefsels en houden het verband dus goed op zijn plaats .
Na gebruik worden de zelfklevende randen heel gemakkelijk in de stand gebracht waarin zij in de figuren 2 en 3 worden voorgesteld. De zelfklevende randen (3 en 4) komen ter plaatse van de kleefpunten
(9) gemakkelijk van de folie (2) los. Bij het omplooien van de dwarse randen (5 en 5') komen de randen .(3-3' en 4-4') eveneens los zodat deze zelfklevende randen dan in de stand komen te staan die is afgebeeld in de figuren 2 en 3.
Het plooien van het verband in de richting die is aangeduid door de pijlen (7) geschiedt langsheen de plooilijn (8) ter hoogte van twee insnijdingen (6) .
Wanneer het verband volledig is geplooid, d.i. wanneer de randen (3 en 3') enerzijds, (4 en 4') anderzijds alsook de dwarsranden (5 en 5') in contact met elkaar zijn gekomen, komt het verband als volledig "verpakt" voor. De absorberende strook (1) zit dan volledig in de ondoordringbare folie (2) opgesloten, zodat het wegwerpen van het verband niet het minste probleem oplevert.
Hoewel de hierbovengegeven beschrijving volledig is gericht op een maandverband, is de uitvinding uiteraard ook van toepassing op wegwerpluiers en gelijkaardige voorwerpen.
Het is verder duidelijk dat de uitvinding niet beperkt is tot de hierboven beschreven uitvoeringsvorm en dat hieraan vele veranderingen zouden kunnen worden aangebracht o.m. wat betreft de vorm, de schikking en de ligging van de elementen die essentieel zijn voor het verwezenlijken van de uitvinding.

The self-adhesive strips adhere well to fabrics and thus keep the bandage in place.
After use, the self-adhesive edges are very easily brought into the position in which they are shown in Figures 2 and 3. The self-adhesive edges (3 and 4) reach the adhesive points
(9) easily detached from the foil (2). When the transverse edges (5 and 5 ') are folded over, the edges (3-3' and 4-4 ') also come off so that these adhesive edges are then in the position shown in Figures 2 and 3. .
The folding of the bandage in the direction indicated by the arrows (7) takes place along the fold line (8) at the level of two cuts (6).
