Abstract

The viewer allows a scale model to be examined as if of full size. The lines of sight of the right and left eyes of the user are deflected to bring the distance between them down to the same scale as that to which the model is constructed. This can be done by a system of flat, concave and convex mirrors, prisms, lenses, and/or optical fibres.
