IMPROVEMENTS AT ELECTRICAL ENERGY PRODUCTION FACILITIES INCLUDING THERMAL MOTORS
AND CONDENSING TURBINES.
The present invention relates to installations for producing electrical energy comprising heat engines working in association with condensing turbines, heat engines and condensing turbines driving electrical generators, for example alternators.
In such installations, the condensing turbines are supplied with steam by boilers which are heated by the exhaust gases of thermal engines. The condensing turbine circuit is a formed circuit comprising a condenser, the condensed water returning to the boiler.
In installations that do not include any special installation, the steam produced by the boiler feeds the condensing turbine, for example at a temperature of 250 ° C, under a pressure of 8 bars; condensation water

the efficiency of such a cycle, it is essential to preheat the water in the condensing turbine circuit before entering the boiler supplied by the exhaust gases from the heat engines.
To do this, one or two heat exchangers are generally inserted into the circuit of the condensation turbine, between the condenser and the boiler, for example, which are supplied by steam withdrawn from certain stages of the condensation turbine; this condensed vapor then mixes with the condensation water coming from the condenser to be reintegrated into the circuit of the condensation turbine.
Such an embodiment is shown in Figure 1 of the accompanying drawings, which shows the known prior state of the art. In this figure, the heat engine has not been shown and only the circuit of the condensation turbine in the boiler supplied by the exhaust gases of the heat engine has been shown.
Referring to Figure 1, 1 shows the condensing turbine which drives a three-phase alternator 2. The condensing turbine 1 is powered
from the vaporization device 3 of the boiler 4, supplied by the exhaust gases of the heat engine. The return circuit of the condensing turbine 1 consists of a condenser 5, a circulation pump 6 and two heat exchangers 7 and 8. The heat exchangers 7 and 8 are respectively supplied from two stages of condensate turbine draw-off 9 and 10 1.
It is obvious that the quantity of steam drawn off at stages 9 and 10 of the

at the inlet of boiler 4, the cycle efficiency is improved, but the fact remains that all of the potential power of condensing turbine 1 is not available at the shaft of alternator 2 .
However, in installations of the type described above, a heat source exists which can be used without resorting to one or more withdrawals from the condensation turbine.
According to the present invention, the installation for producing electrical energy comprising at least one heat engine and at least one condensation turbine, said heat engine and said condensation turbine driving an electrical generator, and at least one boiler, supplied with power. by the exhaust gases of said heat engine, producing the steam supplying said condensation turbine through a closed circuit comprising a condenser, is characterized in that a heat exchanger, inserted in the circuit of said condensation turbine, between said condenser and said boiler is supplied in a closed circuit with water from the cooling circuit of said heat engine, in order to recover the heat stored by said cooling water of the heat engine.
In fact, in installations of the type described above, the heat engines are cooled by means of water which circulates in a closed cooling circuit, which comprises a heat exchanger supplied on the other hand with cold water. As the cooling water comes out of the heat engines at a

water is evacuated in pure loss in conventional installations.
An installation embodiment according to the invention is shown in Figure 2 of the accompanying drawings. As in FIG. 1, only the elements necessary for a proper understanding of the subject of the invention have been shown.
Referring to FIG. 2, 1 represents the condensing turbine which drives a three-phase alternator 2. The condensing turbine 1 is supplied from the vaporization device 3 of the boiler 4, supplied by the exhaust gases of the heat engine . The return circuit of the condensing turbine consists of a condenser 5, a circulation pump 6 and

The normal cooling water circuit of the heat engine is composed of a heat exchanger 12, supplied on the other hand by cold water, and which serves to evacuate the heat stored by the cooling water.
For the implementation of the present invention, the cooling water of the heat engines is directed into the heat exchanger 11, where it is used to preheat the water in the circuit of the condensation turbine 1. The elimination of the withdrawal to the condensing turbine 1 makes it possible to increase the power available to the shaft of the alternator 2, and therefore to increase to a certain extent the overall efficiency of the installation.
As the installation must be kept in working order, even in the event of maintenance or damage to the condensing turbine circuit 1, it is necessary to provide in any case the heat exchanger 12, as well as a valve set 13, which allows the flow of the cooling water to be directed

thermal 12, in which case this heat is simply evacuated to the outside.
While improving the overall efficiency of the installation, the implementation of the invention, as indicated in the preceding description, makes it possible to sim-
