Abstract

Phenolic gp. terminated elastomers which are the reaction products of a carboxy-group terminated elastomer (pref. a liquid diene elastomer), and a diphenol. For mixing with resins (esp. epoxy resins), to give impact resistance. Useful in smaller quantities than prior art elastomers, so that they do not adversely affect the resins rigidity.
