Abstract

Appts. for rounding the corners of glass slides comprises a horizontal grinding wheel, a slot with oppositely sloping sides aligned above and parallel to the wheel, so that groups of slides can be supported in the slot with the corners to be rounded passing through the slot into contact with the grinding wheel and a pair of vertical bars supports the corners of the groups of slides to be ground, the lower ends of the bars moving in horizontal slots attached to the base of the machine so as to avoid cracking.
