Abstract
Nutritional agents for men, animals or plants obtd. from the cortical cells of grain, husks or similar coverings and are added to food or feeding substances which contain non or very little of these agents but promote their preservation and digestability without altering their absorption. They are prepd. by treating the cortical cells with pectolytic enzymes and recovering the product.
