Abstract

Complex layered materials is produced by application of (i) opt. one or more layers of a vinylidene chloride copolymer contg. 80-95 wt. % of vinylidene chloride and (ii) further layer of special vinylidene chloride copolymer by the same method and (iii) one or more layers of a polyolefin to a support. The special vinylidene chloride copolymer above contains 50-95 wt. % vinylidene chloride, and 0.3-10 wt. % N-alkylolamides of ethylenically unsat. carboxylic acids. Materials is formed into film or sheet and used particularly in the food industry for wrapping consumable products.
