The invention relates to a screwed method to take advantage of the heat released in the. continuous manufacture of coke and concerned in particular the cooling, with seo, of coke.
The coke obtained in the coking plants is formed at high temperature and as a result, in most cases it is essential to cool it before use.

then their heat, in a boiler placed in series, for the production of steam. Since the manufacture of coke is discontinuous but the vapor evolution must be constant, it is essential to take special precautions - for example, to provide for reserves - to obtain the compensation.
These devices significantly increase the cost of the entire installation,
The aim of the invention is to develop a process for cooling coke which can be applied in particular to the continuous manufacture of coke,
It is quite natural to use for the production of steam the heat constantly given off in this mole of making ooke.
The major disadvantage of this procedure is that the low temperatures of the inert gas recirculated being low, the steam boiler installations become relatively large, which leads to an increase in the cost of the installations.
,,,
Given the need to limit the vapor pressure and the vapor temperatures (temperature of the recirculated gas approximately 9000 0) and taking into account the conditions of the case in point, the relatively small vapor production installations operating according to previous processes can only be incorporated into the steam circuit of a power plant at high costs and a reduction in the overall efficiency of the installation.

preferably, in the upper regions of the coking grid, since in this location it is desirable to achieve rapid heating. The heating of the material to be coked can be further accelerated if, as already indicated above, a combustible gas is passed through part of the coke cooling tubes and if one leads, also, this combustible gas to the front areas of the coking grate where it mixes with air and burns.
It is also advantageous to adopt an air distribution such that only a small part of the gases leaving the fuel during coking burns and that, as a result, the portions to be cooked are only slightly oxidized on the surface,
