<Desc/Clms Page number 2>

Labels obtained by immersion on organic fibrous and flexible non-woven textile supports.
Marking or identification in the form of! names, figurines or other, of clothing, underwear, lingerie items and all other articles or uses, is also produced in the form of woven labels of all textiles.
Do these known articles enter, as an indication, from an export point of view, in the customs nomenclature? 1070, section 13.
To achieve these printed labels, we used, today, first ribbons with woven edges, enauite
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
@ ribbons with heat-welded selvedges, then ribbons or plates cut from pieces of fabric previously dressed or coated so that no unraveling, neither in the direction of the weft nor in the direction of the warp, occur'.
These known embodiments according to above are however quite expensive as a result of their embodiments obtained as indicated above. However, the commercial development of almost all the articles and in all the fields, leads to reconsider the problem of labeling or marking in a new form to obtain labels of a very reduced cost price and corresponding to the various uses.
It is therefore to obtain this result that the production of labels was designed, no longer starting from glued woven yarns or other processes, but starting from fibrous and flexible organic non-woven textile supports, in the form of cut strips. or others, and whose constitution allows cutting in directional tops, without there being any risk of unraveling. It is also possible to use plates cut in large format and then re-cut to label by clicking.
In fact, since these non-woven labels have neither warp nor weft, there is no longer any need to glue the threads to avoid unraveling.
The invention essentially consists of a new product allowing manufacture in the form of labels printed on all nonwoven textiles, comprising neither warp nor weft and commonly called "nonwoven" ".
This is essentially the printing of labels on strips or plates cut from fibrous and flexible nonwoven organic textile supports, obtained by

agglomeration, cut fibers, placed in sheets, fibers which are agglutinated together by gluing, chemical means or known caloric means.
These fibrous layers give these nonwoven articles a certain dimensional strength which allows printing, while providing a resistance which simply felted articles do not have.
Any warp and weft being removed from these ar-

non-woven items, there is no longer any risk of d4.C.ilrz; read 1:> "cutting of labels, a risk which is a major inconvenience for the label printed on warp and weft fabric, and that 'one avoids only in this case by carrying out additional operations of heat welding, folds at the ends of the label, or by special primer.
The new industrial product according to the invention, which is the label printed on these nonwoven articles, has

given by the entanglement of the fibers, and there is no such thing as making folds at the ends, the seams holding them perfectly within 1 or 2 millimeters of the cut edges.
We can say that the tensile strength on a seam

on a cut edge of the nonwoven fabric is stronger than on a common article used under the same conditions.
It is understood that this new product can be made in any size and as needed.
