<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>
<Desc/Clms Page number 5>

The object of the invention is to provide a building construction which is provided with at least one corrugated plate of expandable material, and with a support against which the corrugated plate is fixed by means of at least one fixing means which extends through a corrugated plate provided in the plate at the location of a corrugated crest. opening in such a way that the corrugated sheet extends

can expand freely with respect to the support without loosening the fastening of the plate to the support and without losing the watertightness of the connection points.
In order to achieve the stated object, the building construction according to the invention is characterized in that the fixing means has a

member made of elastically resilient material is resp. which permits free relative expansion of plate and support and seals said opening permanently moisture-tight.
A preferred embodiment of the building construction according to the invention is characterized in that the said member is a bush made, for example, of rubber, which on the one hand connects moisture-tightly to the plate opening at the top and is fixed relative thereto, and on the other hand is fixed against the support at the bottom.
The use of the invention permits unrestricted expansion of the plates relative to the support, at which expansion (which for a polyvinyl chloride plate is 0.06 mm per linear meter / 00) the sleeve is elastically deformed and stretched. It goes without saying that instead of rubber, any other suitable elastically resilient material can be used.
According to another inventive feature, the can is fixed in a moisture-tight manner at the top with respect to the plate opening by means of a clamping cap of hard material, which is inserted into the can from the outside via the plate opening, and which the canister by means of a thickened portion. outwardly to a diameter greater than the diameter of the plate opening and firmly pressing the opening. This fastening by means of the clamping cap, which may consist, for example, of polyvinyl chloride, guarantees both a fixation of the bush to the plate and a moisture-proof connection of the bush to the plate.
Since the sleeve is formed from an elastically resilient material, pressing outwards by means of the clamping cap does not present any drawbacks. The fastening and fixation can be further improved if the clamping cap lies with one head outside and on a flange of the can lying on the plate.
In the preferred embodiment of the building construction according to the

The aforementioned clamping cap protects the screw against moisture ingress.
The retention of the sleeve and screw can be further improved by, according to another feature of the invention.
@ing, place the head of the screw on a ring of hard material cast in the bottom of the can. As a hard material, for example copper can be used *
With reference to the schematic drawing, a preferred embodiment of the building construction according to the invention is explained.
The drawing shows a portion of a wooden support 1 with a corrugated plate 2 fixed thereon. The plate 2 is fixed to the support 1 with a sleeve 3 made of elastic-resilient material, such as rubber, which extends from a crest of the wave. plate 2 runs to the support 1.
The sleeve 3 protrudes through an opening 4 in a wave crest of the plate 2 and is fixed in a moisture-tight manner at the top in that opening by a clamping cap 5 made of hard material, inserted from the outside through the opening 4 into the sleeve 3, and which has a thickening 6. pushes the sleeve 3 outward to a larger diameter than that of the opening 4 and presses firmly into the opening 4. The clamping cap 5 rests with its head on the outside on an outward flange 7 of the sleeve 3 lying on the plate 2.
The sleeve 3 is placed at the bottom with its bottom on the support 1 and fixed thereto with a wood screw 8, which lies with its head in the sleeve 3 and with its shaft through an opening in the

bottom of the can. The head of the wood screw 8 rests on a copper ring 9 cast in the bottom of the bush 3.
The manner of mounting the sleeve is simple. After an opening 4 has been drilled in the corrugated plate, the diameter of which is equal to that of the sleeve 3, the sleeve 3 is pushed from above through the opening 4 and fixed to the support 1 with the wood screw 8. from above into the sleeve 3, whereby, through the thickened portion 6, the rubber wall of the sleeve 3 is widened outwardly.
