The following examples serve to explain the manufacture of the compounds of the invention.
EXAMPLE 1
EMI6.1
Ether ¯de and dāh-bu4rl-benzhvdrYloi While stirring, 240 g of dec <-butylbenzhydrol are added to a suspension of 47 g of sodium amide in 600 ml of toluene. After 15 minutes a solution of 135 g of chloride is added
EMI6.2
rle beta-dim6ethylaino-ethyl in 150 nl of toluene and the mixture is heated under reflux for 2 hours. After the residue, it is washed with water, the toluene is distilled off and the residue is fractionated in vacuo.
EMI6.3
Point t3. Bu1l1tion: 133-138 C under 0.08 mm; randevent: 22'g.
To prepare the hydrochloride, the base is dissolved in absolute ether, and while stirring, a little less than the theoretical amount of ether containing hydrochloric acid is added. The precipitated hydrochloride is filtered off under vacuum and recrystallized from acetone, Melting point: 163-164 C
Starting from the base and the corresponding acids, the following salts can be obtained in acetone:
Citrate melting at 118-122 C (after recrystallization from alcohol)
Tartrate melting at 138-142 C (after recrystallization in alcohol)
The succinct melting at 85-88 C.
The maleate melting at 131-134 C.
Theophylline-acetate melting at 125-129 C,
By reacting the base with glyconic acid in acetone and evaporating the solution the gluconate is obtained as a viscous liquid.
By reacting the hydrochloride and sodium embenate in water, the ebonate of the base is obtained. Melting point 65-85 C

of toluene, 82.5 g of deo (-butyl-benhydrol are added while stirring, then a solution of chloride of ,, 11-mstiayi-. beta-.ph4nyl-iso-proDyl-ar, lino- is added dropwise. 6thyl in toluene.
This toluene solution is obtained from 78 g of 1.methyl-beta-phenyl-i.so-propyl-anino-ethyl chloride hydrochloride by adding sodium hydroxide solution, exhausting with toluene and sE = song with sodium sulfate. The reaction mixture is heated for 2 hours at the boiling point, after cooling it is washed with water, the tolu 3 is removed by distillation and the residue is fractionated in vacuo.
EMI7.3
Boiling point: 188-19390 under 0 $ 01mn.
The hydrochloride is obtained from the base, with ether enclosing it in hydrochloric acid and recrystallized from ketone, adding ether.
Melting point: 136-142 C.

phenyl-1so-propyl) -N-benzyl-ino-ethyl (boiling at 225-2300C under 0.03 mm) and after adding palladium on carbon is hydrogenated for 8 hours at 70 C. After the absorption of hydrogen Once completed, the catalyst is separated off by suction under vacuum, the isopropyl alcohol is removed by distillation and the residue is fractionated under vacuum.
Boiling point: 183-188 C at 0.02 mm; yield: 33 g.
From the base one obtains, with ether renfon mmt of hydrochloric acid, the hydrochloride melting point 129-134 C
