The invention brings them in the first place. above and which are new and in particular those which are chlorinated in the phenyl rings,
The invention also relates to the applications @ of the components defined above, mainly in the therapeutic field and to the compositions containing these compounds associated with non-toxic pharmaceutically acceptable carriers *.
Another subject of the present invention is a process for preparing the components defined above *
According to a first embodiment of this process, a tertiary primary disaine is reacted with diphenoxyacetyl chloride in equimolecular proportions or a bimolular amount of a primary amine.
The diphenoxyaaetyl chloride is preferably dissolved in a solvent such as chloroform or ethyl acetate. The reaction is most often carried out cold. An excess of amine can advantageously be used.
According to a second embodiment, an excess of amine is reacted with a lower alkyl (preferably ethyl) diphenoxyaoetate in solution in ethanol.
This embodiment can take place either cold or by heating to reflux.
Non-limiting examples of the implementation of the process for preparing the components of the invention have been given below by way of illustration.
Diphenoxyacetyl chloride was prepared beforehand in the following way

one can oonetater, by txaalnant ot table, that the presence of one or two dr ehlorw atoms on the solooule of the compounds of the invention can lead to different modifications depending on the or. it is thus that for the d3, phentrr acetylmido-propyl-morpholineu the chlorination decreases the texioity while for the dîphenoxy-uodtamideg it seems to increase it for the mono-chlorinated derivative.

Papaverine is said to be the type of musculotropic spasmolytics. The action of the product has therefore also been compared most of the time compared to that of atropine with respect to the spasm caused by acetylcholine. , since atropine is the type of antispasmodic. parasympatholytic and therefore with neuctrupal action.
These comparisons * therefore make it possible to determine whether the derivatives have an antispasmodic action and this is above all mueoulotropic or neurotropic. the euivant table gives a summary of the results * obtained in this condition, and the reports of the action of the two control spasmolytics to that of the compounds of the invention which is of course weaker.

The most active products are therefore those corresponding to Examples 3, 5 and 7.
It was noted that the derivatives studied had a calming effect in the mice and, often in sufficient doses, caused them to lose the turn-around reflex. A possible action of potentiating barbiturate sleep was therefore sought. The tests were carried out on groups of six stables! The comparison was made between the effects caused, on the one hand by 80 mg / kg of "Hexobarbital" alone and, on the other hand by the same dose, of The aforementioned bartituric acid absorbed half an hour before the administration of different doses of the derivative studied.

It may be recalled that under the conditions in which the above tests were carried out, oral chlorpromasin at a dose of 5 mg / kg increases barbiturate sleep by 125 to 150% on the different control luffs of animals tested! By intraperitoneally, the percentage increase in barbiturate sleep is: - 67% for a dose of 1.25 mg / kg - 250% for a dose of 2.50 mg / kg - 256% for a dose of 5 mg / kg.
Other pharmacodynamic studies were carried out using the compounds of the invention.
Thus, it was possible to demonstrate that (di-phenoxy-aoetylamidopropyl-morpholine, injected intraperitoneally, has a certain tranquilizing action.
To demonstrate this action, the "Rotarod" test was used, according to which the mouse is placed on a rotating rod and the percentage of animals which, after 30 minutes for example, have fallen is determined.
We studied different doses of the compound and its chlorinated, mono-chlorinated (Example 15) or dichlorinated (Example 20).
The percentage of animals that have fallen after the determined time has been given in the table below for different doses of these 3 compounds. The results obtained for (di-phenoxy) methyl-aoetamide and its mono and ichloro derivatives are also given in this table (Examples 12 and 19).
