<Desc/Clms Page number 4>
D'autres caractéristiques do l'invention ainsi que diverses variantes do réalisation de cello-ci roasortiront dû la description complémentaire faite ci-après avec référence aux dessina annexés, donnés à titre d'exemples non limitatifs et dans lesquels : - La Fig. 1 est une vue on élévation latérale d'un modo do réalisation d'un raccord perfectionne conformément à l'invontion, comportant un serrage 4 action positive par vis basculante ;
- La Fig. 2 est une coupe diamétrale suivant II-II do la Fig. 1 - Les Fig. 3 et 4 sont des vues do détail à plus grande échelle, respectivement de face et on coupe médiane, do l'extrémité on forme do crochet d'un dos éléments du collier ; - Les Fig, 5 ot 6 sont des vues de détail similaires de l'extrémité on forme do chape ; - La Fig. 7 est une vue do face de l'étrior basculant portant la via do serrage ,.
La Fig. 8 estune vue en élévation latérale par- tiollo d'une variante do réalisation du raccord représenté à la Fig. 1, comportant un serrage à action rapide par levier à dépassement de point mort ; - La Fig. 9 est une vuo en porspoctive à grando échelle d'une variante de réalisation des extrémités dos élémonts du collier ;

Ce joint comporte avantageusement uno collerette extérieure 5c qui so rabat sur l'un dos embouts 3, 3, . ce qui assuro son miaintien sur cet embout lors dos montages et démontagoe du collier. conformément à l'invention, les doux élmonts' 1;
<Desc/Clms Page number 6>
Do son côté, l'axe 8 (V. fig.

In the previous embodiment, the lock has a specific articulation sputum to engage on the axis of the yoke provided at one end of one of the elements of the collar while the via do clamping is dimensioned so that its free end can be engaged and taken. support in the hook formed at the other end of a second element of the collar.
The clamping means can also 3tre rapid action by at least one lever exceeding do neutral. Pana 'the above-mentioned embodiment, one of the ends of the lever included a clean articulation hook to engage on the axis of the yoke provided at one of the ends of one of the elements; of the collar, while an articulated buckle has a convatable point of the coil, engages the hook formed at the other end of a second element of the collar.
As can be seen, the identity produced, in accordance with the invention, on the connecting members of the basic elements of the collar and of the clamping cores makes it possible to adapt at will and instant one or the other of? clamping means referred to above, or any autro clamping means provided with corresponding connecting members, depending on the uses for which the connection is intended, without having to make the slightest modification to the basic elements of the collar.
In all cases, the elements of the collar and the aorrago means that can be made integral between OR% their respective points of articulation and tilting: - either definitively, by matting of the articulation hook bu auto tilting. 'corresponding axis; either in a somi-definitive way by the conjugation of an appropriate conformation of the articulation hook or of basclomont and of a flat provided on the corrosponding axow:

In the example shown in Figs 1 and 2, the connector according to the invention comprises a collar composed of soft elements 1 1on arc of a circle having a cross section in the shape of a gutter (V. Fig.
2) whose oblique walls cooperate, in a manner known to one, with symmetrical frustoconical rampas 2, 2 provided on two cmbouts 3, 3 which are respectively secured to the parts to be assembled here constituted by soft portions of cylindrical pipes ** , 4. Between the end pieces'), 3 is interposed a seal 5, of rubber for example, having

have two sides doa eal111a annular 5 ,, 5b, which efoo- gagont in back gorgoa corresponding end caps.
This seal advantageously comprises uno outer flange 5c which so flaps on the back end pieces 3, 3,. which ensures its miaintien on this tip during back assembly and dismantling of the collar. according to the invention, the soft élmonts' 1;
1 of the collar are of identical construction.
Each of these elements has at one end a cross-curved part in the form of a hook 6 while its opposite end is established in the form of a yoke 7 whose soft lateral branches feel connected)? by a transverse part 8 constituting the articulation axis, Los respective dimensions of the hook 6, the yoke 7 and the axis 8 are such)! that the axis 6 of one of the elements 1, 1 can be engaged and tournor gently in the hook 6 of the other element, without significant lateral play, in order to ensure the articulation of the two elements between them , as seen on the left side of FIG. 1.
On the other hand, the meeting and the tightening of the soft free ends * of the collar / thus constituted being ensured, in the example of the same figure, by a screw 9 with tilting yoke 10, the end of the 'etrior 10 opposite to that which carries the screw 9 is

established in the form of a hook 11, similar to the hook 6 each of which does back elements 1, 1 of the collar 1 and which is articulated on the axis 8 provided at the free end of one of these elements, while ' that the free end of the via do aorrago 9 engages and rests in the hook 6 of the free end of the second element of the collar.
As has been said above, the elements 1,1 can be made definitively integral with one another at their point of articulation by a suitable matago of the end of the hook 6 of the articulation around do the corresponding axis 8.
Likewise, the tilting bracket 10 carrying the clamping screw 9 can be made definitively integral with the element 1 on which it is articulated by matting the end of its hook 11 around the axis 8 of said element. However, - it seems preferable not to realize that a semi-final solidariaation of these various elements between them in order to allow their easy separation, if necessary.
This result can be obtained in particular by the following means:
The curvature of the hook 6 formed at one of the ends of each element 1, 1 of the collar is such (see Fig. 4) that the distance d separating the boc of this hook from the body 1 of the element is slightly less than diameter of the axis 8 provided at the other end of the element. On its side, the axis 8 (see fig. 6) is provided with a flat 8a which allows it to engage freely in the opening of the hook 6.
This flat is arranged so that the engagement of the axis 8 in said opening can be effected by placing said flat substantially along a plane tangent to the circumference of the element 1, in line with the hook 6 of this checkerboard, then by moving the axis 8 parallel to itself until it comes into contact with the bottom of the hook 6, after which the joining of the two
