Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

   The invention relates to the prefabrication of beams, which in cross-section may for instance be rectangular, round or oval, which beams perform the same function as the prestressed concrete still used today.

  In these bars the number of bars or strings of e.g. steel, nylon or similar materials required for a particular purpose are arranged. The rods or strings are enclosed by a fast-acting cement, which may or may not be provided with a supplement, eg consisting of hollith, asbestos fiber or other inserts.

   The prestressing beams prefabricated in this way can be manufactured and supplied in various lengths.

   One of the advantages of this method is, among other things, that on any given work these beams can be placed in the formwork, which is then enclosed by the concrete, so that the recesses in which the rods are normally prestressed no longer need to be injected by liquid cement.

   Another advantage is that when asbestos material is used to enclose the rods and strings, the beam can withstand very high temperatures. ** WARNING ** End of DESC field may contain beginning of CLMS field **.

SUMMARY Process for the manufacture of prestressing beams, which are placed in the formwork, for example and enclosed by concrete, serve as prestressing of the concrete, characterized in that the beams are manufactured in prefab, whereby they are provided with a pre-tensioning number of rods or strings set target and enclosed by a fast-acting cement. ** WARNING ** End of CLMS field may contain beginning of DESC field **.
