<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>

The present invention relates to an air conditioning distribution system allowing a significant reduction in the dimensions of the main ducts.
The size of the ducts often makes it practically impossible to apply a central heating system with a single generator to complicated and extensive circuits such as an apartment building for example.
The invention consists in the use of air at temperatures and speeds substantially higher than the values normally used.
This high speed air cannot be directly distributed to the premises, especially because of the impossibility of ensuring quiet operation under these conditions.
The invention consists in the use of the secondary distribution networks of & ir operating at the speeds and

normal temperatures used such as pure example 50 "and 3 r: 'l: 1'3s pr sco!: de and a network -nri-neipal to vitO1'- s and ter, I.0l'L.tureG 3 or' 1: times more ulcvucs.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
The invention also consists in the use of regulator-mixers at the inlet of the secondary networks ensuring the mixture of conditioned air at high temperature with the ambient air so as to reduce the temperature, the mixture being propelled. at reduced speed in the secondary network by the energy released by the expansion.
By way of nonlimiting example, mention may be made of the characteristics of the air in the main network.
1500 C and speed of 20m / sec. the normal characteristics being of the order of 75 and 2m / sec. for the same cross section the quantity of calories transported will be multiplied by 150 x 20 = 20
75 2 By way of non-limiting example .a possible variant of the extension of the dispensing system according to the invention is shown in the accompanying drawing.
The high temperature conditioned air circulates at high speed in the main duct 1, which is insulated to reduce the heat.
Bypass 2 supplies a secondary network, heating an apartment for example.
The bypass 2 is fitted with a silencer 3 consisting, for example, of a double wall lined with glass wool similar to automobile shock absorbers.
The bypass 2 is also fitted with a nozzle 4 fitted with the adjustment valves 5.
This nozzle is located in front of a regulator-mixer 6 consisting of a box in the form of a venturi tube, the para. the box being orally lined with a coating absorbing the braid.
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
The venturi tube shape is not compulsory in order to obtain the desired result, but nevertheless is better suited than the straight box, for example.
The expansion of the air leaving the nozzle 4 causes a depression and entrainment of the ambient air in the mixer 6.
This ambient air is drawn in through the grid 7 in the rooms to be heated 8.
On leaving the mixer 6, the mixture of conditioned air and ambient air enters the secondary network of ducts 9, at reduced temperature and speed, ensuring silent operation.
The network 9 is fitted with by-passes 10 fitted with outlets in the premises to be heated 8.
The quantity of conditioned air introduced in 4 generally corresponds to the ventilation required for the premises served by the secondary network 9.
Under these conditions, air return to the central conditioner or air return is not necessary and all the air return duct networks can be eliminated, which allows considerable savings in 'installation.
The main duct 1, bypass 3 and mixer 6 assembly can be placed in a reduction formed in the corner of one of the rooms of the apartment, for example, and several return grilles 7 can be mounted to put the mixer 7 in communication with the different rooms 8 or with the common hall, while the secondary ducts 9 are hidden in the false ceiling of this diversion.
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
Bypass 2 can be fitted with a motorized valve controlled by a room thermostat thus providing automatic regulation * '
Calorie counting becomes possible by using an hour meter recording the time during which the motorized damper servomotor is in the opening position.
