<Desc/Clms Page number 2>

"Regulator for quantitative report, in particular regulator for gas and air mixtures."
The invention relates to a device serving to automatically maintain constant the quantitative ratio of two fluid media or agents, taking into account the temperature of one or both fluids. The invention relates, in the main order, to devices for maintaining constant the ratio of gas to hot air (combustion air) in gas fireplaces used for technical purposes, taking into account the temperature of the gas. hot air. Various regulators of gas-air mixtures of this type are already known, with automatic temperature correction.
However, they still have the drawback of requiring considerable expense from a technical point of view for this automatic temperature correction.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
The invention provides a possibility of obtaining the automatic correction of the temperature, in a safe manner, with relatively simple means, in the case of devices of the above-mentioned type.
According to the invention, a current divider, with main barrier neck, secondary barrier neck and pressure regulator (now behind the neck) is used as a device sensitive to the quantity of air in the regulating device. secondary barrier, the same pressure conditions as behind the main barrier neck), as well as a measuring diaphragm placed after this current divider, in the partial current outlet duct, the secondary barrier neck being provided directly to the duct through which the hot air passes (therefore under the same conditions as those in which the main dam neck works), a cooling device (longer duct or special refrigerator), giving the partial air current a constant temperature (for example the outside temperature), being also expected and, finally,
a duct leading to the ratio regulator being provided as a bypass, before the measuring diaphragm. The pressure in front of this measuring diaphragm is a measure for the reduced air flow at ambient temperature and pressure in the main air duct.
The accompanying drawing schematically represents an embodiment of the object of the invention.
1 denotes a gas duct and 2 denotes a hot air duct (combustion air), both of which belong to a gas fireplace installation for industrial purposes, which is not shown here. 3 designates a ratio regulator with jet duct and double diaphragm (mixing regulator), of known construction. The jet duct controls an adjustment motor, not shown, which operates the adjustment of a valve

throttle, not shown, located in duct 2.
As a member sensitive to the quantity of gas of the regulating device, the barrier neck 4 of the pipe 1 is used, in conjunction with the diaphragm differential pressure system 5 of the regulator 3.
A current divider, with main barrier neck 6., secondary barrier neck 7, diaphragm pressure regulator 8, and the measuring diaphragm 9, in conjunction with the diaphragm system 10 of the regulator 3, serve to obtain of the quantity of hot air passing through the duct 2. The pressure regulator 8 maintains, as is known, the same pressure conditions behind the secondary barrier neck 7 as behind the main barrier neck 6.
As can be seen, the secondary barrier neck 7 is provided directly to the main duct 2, so that it works under the same conditions as the main barrier neck 6. 11 designates a cooling device, of known construction, surrounding the partial current duct 12, device which gives a constant temperature (for example the outside temperature) to the quantity of partial air, after its passage through the secondary barrier collar 7. After its exit from the current divider in 13 (pressure regulator valve), the air flows to the open air, 'through duct 14, passing through the measuring diaphragm' 9.
The pressure before this measuring diaphragm 9 constitutes a measurement for the air flow reduced to the ambient temperature and pressure in the main duct 2 and, via the duct 15, it gives the control impulse to the system. diaphragm 10 of the regulator slider 16, the basic gas to air ratio, to be kept constant, is set.
