Cette invention a trait aux machines à laver, plus particulièrement à laver le linge et articles semblables.
Les machines à laver connues comportent des organes mé- caniques aptes à mettre en mouvement le linge et le liquide de traitement.
En général, on dispose dans un récipient unique le lin- ge et le liquide, en imprimant à l'ensemble, par des aubes ou au- tres organes, un mouvement rotatoire apte à renouveler le liquide et à l'obliger de traverser le linge à laver.
Cette condition n'est réalisable que difficilement, car, par effet du mouvement rotatoire imprimé à la machine, le linge s'embrouille et se tord, et les conditions désirées ne sont pas atteintes.
De plus, à cause de la présence d'organes mécaniques en mouvement, le linge est maltraité et abimé ; parconséquent, ces machine ne sont pas appréciées par les consommateurs.

Enfin, il est possible que l'usager soit blessé par les organes en mouvement lorsque l'intérieur de la cuve est accessible.
Cette invention se propose d'éliminer les inconvénients ci-dessus et prévoit une machine à laver le linge ou autres arti- cles, caractérisée en ce qu'elle comporte une cuve, affectant, en partie au moins, un profil en arc, combinée avec une tuyère au moins, aboutissant à une source de fluide sous pression, de façon à provoquer un mouvement rotatoire de la masse constituée par le liquide de traitement et le linge.
Le dessin ci-joint montre, schématiquement et à titre d'exemple, la machine suivant l'invention.
La figure 1 en est une coupe verticale, la figure 2 en est une coupe verticale passant par l'axe du corps cylindrique du récipient de lavage.
10 indique le récipient, de forme cylindrique ou partiel- lement',cylindrique, muni d'une bouche de chargement du linge et agencé à axe horizontal.
A proximité de la paroi inférieure 16 du récipient 10 est prévue une fenêtre 20 au moins, constituant l'orifice de la tuyère ou des tuyères 18 d'injection du liquide détergent, agis- sant en direction essentiellement tangentiel.le dans la masse de liquide contenue dans le récipient 10 et dans laquelle est immergé le linge à laver.
La tuyère 18 est reliée, par le conduit 22, à la pompe 24 apte à faire circuler et à mettre sous pression le liquide à injecter.
Le conduit d'aspiration 26 de la pompe débouche dans la chambre 40, latérale à l'une des têtes du récipient cylindrique 10.
Le diaphragme 10' de la tête, séparant la chambre 40 de l'intérieur du récipient 10, est perforé, de manière que le liqui- de circulant à l'intérieur en tourbillon, en entraînant le linge, est rappelé à travers lesdits trous dans une direction parallèle à

celle de l'axe du tourbillon, c'est-à-dire telle qu'elle n'exerce pas d'action appréciable de rappel sur le linge, qui continue d'ê- tre entraîné en rotation pendant que le liquide circule à travers la pompe.
Les détails de réalisation de la machine perfectionnée pourront être modifiés de toute façon désirée, tout en en mainte- nant le principe caractéristique, sans sortir du cadre de l'inven- tion.
REVENDICATIONS
1.- Machine à laver le linge et autres articles, caracté- risée en ce qu'elle comporte une cuve affectant, en partie au moins, un profil en arc, combinée avec une tuyère au moins aboutissant à une source de fluide sous pression, en vue de provoquer un mouvement rotatoire-de la masse constituée par le liquide de traitement et le,linge.
