<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
Plugs - O.K. Betonvloer- en muur Plug bouten -O.K. Concrete and brick Plug bolts.

DEVICE FOR BUILDING .A .SUPPORT OR .SUSPENSION ORGANE IN,
CONCRETE OR MASONRY,
The present invention relates to a device for embedding a support or suspension member in concrete or in masonry.
By support or suspension member is meant an element, preferably in metal, to which an object can be fixed by screwing, hooking or clamping, this element being embedded at a certain depth in the concrete or masonry, these materials offering in this place a hole or passage which allows to reach Isolated with the object to be fixed either a bar or similar to which the object, can be applied.
In the device according to the invention, the support or suspension ongane is temporarily carried by a support; which is placed ,, during concreting or masonry, in such a way that after these operations have been completed, it can be removed, however that it leaves the support member in place embedded and that care is taken that the concrete or the mortar cannot take on the support; for this purpose., the latter is surrounded by an insulating means, preferably plastic, which remains abandoned in the concrete or masonry, after the support is removed.
By this means there is a passage to reach the support member in order to fix the object to be placed there,
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the device is a bolt, the nut of which remains abandoned in the concrete or mortar, after the bolt body is unscrewed, and this unscrewing is ensured by the fact that this body is not released. is not caught in concrete or mortar, because the threaded part of the bolt is surrounded by a plastic sleeve on the side and side of the nut, The bolt can be fixed in the formwork of the concrete by a short point, which is driven axially into the slot of the bolt head during horizontal concreting the bolt is simply placed freely on the formwork.
In masonry, the bolt is driven back into the joint mortar, so that the bolt head can be reached for unscrewing the bolt body after the mortar has hardened. The presence of

the short point, which can also be a small wood screw, always makes it possible to find the place where a recessed bolt is located with its nut at a certain depth, even for example when the walls of a building have been plastered, in order to remove the bolt orps.
The invention will be described below by way of example, with reference to the accompanying drawing.
Figure 1 shows in elevation and section a bolt according to the invention,
Figure 2 shows the position of the nut in the concrete, after removing the bolt body,
Figure 3 is a plan view of Figure 1, Figures 4,
5 and 6 show applications of the device according to the invention.
The bolt 1 carries a nut 2 of practically rectangular shape.
The shape of the nut can vary, it can be hexagonal, round, elliptical, etc.
A short tip 4 was driven into an axial borehole in the groove of the bolt head. Between the head of the bolt and the nut there is a sleeve 3 made of plastic or the like, on which concrete and mortar do not set. Above the nut 2 is placed a small yoke 6, also of plastic or similar material; the bolt thread is therefore preserved from contact with concrete or mortar. The bolt thus prepared is nailed by the point 4 in the formwork 5 and after the concreting and removal of the formwork, the point indicates replacement of the bolt head and the latter can be unscrewed, so that the nut and the sleeves
3-6 remain embedded in concrete or mortar.
Figure 2 shows the nut 2 and the sleeves 3-6 remained in the concrete, so that in the thread of the nut you can now screw a bar with threaded part, to which you can fix any object.
The bolt will preferably be a flat head and made of iron, copper, glass, wood or other material; the point will be iron, copper, galvanized metal, & c.
Figure 4 shows how the bolts 1 are placed in the masonry joints, in particular driven back into the mortar. Figure 5 shows a floor 8 with a beam, fitted with bolts 1 for fixing to it finishing plates, chandeliers, platform chairs for machines, shelves, coverings, etc. Figure 6 shows a window bay, the upper concrete edge of which and the side walls are fitted with bolts 1 in order to secure the window frame thereon. The bolts 1 can advantageously replace the wooden blophets to which the door frames are fixed.
The device of the invention therefore offers a possibility of solid fixing of objects which must find place on concrete or masonry.
The articles according to the invention will be placed on the market under the name of: Bolts for concrete and masonry O.K. Plugs - O.K. Betonvloer- en muur Plug bouten -O.K. Concrete and brick Plug bolts.
