"GILET A BRETELLES".
La présente invention est relative à un gilet dans lequel il est prévu, en partie intérieurement, un système d'attache du pantalon.
Les bretelles ordinaires, de par leur épaisseur, sont une source .d'inconfort'et de plus elle créent une proéminence se marquant souvent à l'ex- térieur des gilets, surtout, par exemple, des gilets de cérémonie.
L'invention a pour but de prévoir, dans un gilet, un système d'at- tache du pantalon, améliorant le confort tout en assurant d'ailleurs une meil- leure répartition des efforts et un meilleur maintien des vêtements, quels, que soient les mouvements que l'on puisse faire.
A cet effet, dans un gLlet à bretelles suivant l'invention, sur chaque triplure prévue entre l'étoffe et la doublure de chacune des parties antérieures du gilet, est cousu un ruban limité d'une part à l'épaule, se terminant d'autre part à sa base par deux pattes d'attache libres, à bouton- nières, apparaissant extérieurement à la doublure de chacune des parties avant du gilet, 'de manière à se fixer aux boutons de la partie avant du pantalon.
De plus, une pièce, de préférence en partie élastique, terminée d'une part par une fourche supérieure dont chacune des branches présente au moins une boutonnière, d'autre part par deux pattes d'attache, à boutonniè- res,. relie chacun des rubans susdits aux boutons de la partie arrière du pan- talon.
Dans une réalisation particulièrement intéressante de l'invention, chacun des éléments de la fourche est attaché à au moins un bouton fixé, par couture traversant les diverses épaisseurs de tissu notamment le ruban pré- cité, sur chacune des épaules du gilet, de préférence en dessous du revers.

emple non limitatif et avec référence aux dessins annexés.
La fig. 1 représente la face intérieure d'une partie antérieure du gilet.
La fige 2 représente la même partie du gilet vue de l'extérieur.
La fig. 3 est une représentation d'une pièce à fourche et pattes suivant l'invention.
Dans les diverses figures, les mêmes notations de références dé- signent des éléments identiques.
Une partie avant 1 d'un gilet suivant l'invention comporte, outre l'étoffe et la doublure habituelles, une troisième partie, intérieure aux deux autres, appelée ci-après triplure.
Sur cette triplure, est cousu un ruban 2 placé de façon à occuper sensiblement l'emplacement normal des bretelles classiques. Ce ruban 2 est limité en 3 à sa partie supérieure, soit à l'épaule du gilet.
A une distance adéquate de la base du gilet, le ruban 2 se divise en deux parties 4 et 5 qui ne sont plus cousues à la triplure et qui appa- raissent extérieurement à la doublure,donc sur la face intérieure du gilet, en traversant deux ouvertures 6 et 7 de la doublure. Ces deux parties 4 et 5 forment pattes d'attache avec boutonnières 8 et 9 pour la fixation aux boutons de l'avant du pantalon.
Sur l'épaule du gilet, de préférence, en dessous du revers, sont prévus un ou plusieurs boutons 10 fixés par couture aux travers des diverses épaisseurs du gilet et notamment au travers du ruban 2. Ces boutons appa- raissent donc à l'estérieur du gilet mais sont cachés par le revers.
Pour la fixation à l'arrière du pantalon, il a été prévu une piè- ce 11,¯de préférence partiellement élastique. Cette pièce 11 se termine, à sa partie supérieure, par une fourche dont chacun des éléments 14 est parcé d'une ou plusieurs boutonnières 15 et à sa partie inférieure par deux pattes d'attache 16 percées de boutonnières 17 pour la fixation aux boutons de l'ar- rière du pantalon.
Les éléments 14 de la pièce 11 s'attachent, grâce à leurs bouton- nières 15, sur les boutons 10 de l'épaule du gilet. Grâce aux divers boutons 10 et aux diverses boutonnières 15, différentes positions d'attache peuvent être prises.
Ce système de réglage constitue d'ailleurs une des particularités de l'invention. Les boutonnières 15, de par la forme fourchue de la pièce 14 et grâce aux différentes positions de fixation sur les boutons 10, permettent le réglage latéral d'après l'encolure de celui qui porte le gilet : réglage "relâché" écarte du cou le dessus des parties antérieures du gilet et convien- dra pour les fortes encolures. Le réglage "tiré" rapprochera le gilet du cou et sera prévu pour les petites encolures.
Un deuxième système de réglage, par exemple une boucle 13 que l'on retrouve sur les bretelles classiques, peut être prévu sur la partie élasti- que de la pièce 11. Cette partie élastique s'étend, par exemple, depuis les points 12 jusqu'à la boucle de réglage 13 en passant au préalable par la coulisse 18 prévue à la partie supérieure de l'élément 19 auquel sont fixées les pattes d'attache 16...
Il est à remarquer que, du fait de la fixation des boutons 10 par couture au travers des diverses épaisseurs d'étoffe, les efforts de traction créés par les bretelles arrière ne sont pas transmis uniquement aux rubans 2 mais se répartissent sur toute la surface avant du gilet, ce qui favorise la

bonne présentation de ce dernier quels que soient les mouvements faits.
Le système d'attache, suivant l'invention, est donc invisible sur la partie avant du gilet et reprend en quelque sorte l'aspect ordinaire des bretelles sur l'arrière du gilet.
Il doit être entendu que l'invention n'est nullement limitée à la forme d'exécution décrite ci-avant et que bien des modifications peuvent y être apportées, sans sortir du cadre de la présente demande de brevet.

A front part 1 of a waistcoat according to the invention comprises, in addition to the usual fabric and lining, a third part, inside the other two, hereinafter called the lining.
