La présente invention est relative à un appareil urinaire spécialement recommandable pour les bébés et les malades en vue d'éviter que l'urine émise au lit ne souille les literies et rende le séjour au lit plus pénible.
Cet appareil est essentiellement caractérisé par une bourse en toile imperméable, à la quelle se fixe à' l'avant un corps tubulaire en caoutchouc,relié par une conduite également en caoutchouc à un récipient destiné à recevoir l'urine,de telle sorte que l' urine émise directement dans le corps tubulaire, ou dans la bourse même, se trouve évacuée sans risque de mouiller le linge.Dans le cas où l'urine est émise dans la bourse même,celle-ci est garnie supplémentairement d'une bande de caoutchouc très souple, c' est le casoù l'appareil doit s'appliquer au sexe féminin. L'ensemble susdit est supporté par une ceinture entourant le corps et munie de lanières se passant entre les jambes.
Le dessin annexé à ce mémoire montre, à titre d'exemple uniquement,un appareil urinaire conforme à l'invention.
Comme le montre le dessin, l'appareil urinaire comprend essentiellement une bourse 1, en toile imperméabilisée, destinée à soutenir les testicules, et à l'avant s'y fixe à une hauteur appropriée un tube en caoutchouc 2 qui recevra la verge. Ce tuyau 2 se prolonge par une conduite en caoutchouc 3 aboutissant à un ré-

cipient 4, en caoutchouc durci, en bakélite ou en toute autre matière appropriée.
.Pour éviter lors de l'enlèvement du récipient 4 en vue de sa vidange, que de l'urine ne s'échappe du tuyau 3, celui-ci se monte sur un raccord 5 comportant un robinet 6 et inséré dans le bouchon fileté 7 du récipient. Ainsi avant d'enlever celui-ci, on prendra la précaution de fermer le robinet 6. Un tuyau de re-' tour d'air 8 se montant également sur le raccord 5, prévu en conséquence, est accolé à la conduite 3 ; il permettra d'équili- brer la pression d'air dans le récipient 4.
La bourse 1, avec ses accessoires, est fixée à une ceinture en toile 9, qui est passée autour du corps, tandis que des la- nières à boucle 10 passant entre les jambes maintiennent également la bourse 1 dans la position requise.

The present invention relates to a urinary system which is especially recommendable for babies and patients with a view to preventing the urine emitted in bed from soiling the bedding and making the stay in bed more difficult.
This apparatus is essentially characterized by an impermeable canvas bag, to which a tubular rubber body is attached at the front, connected by a pipe also made of rubber to a receptacle intended to receive urine, so that the urine emitted directly into the tubular body, or into the purse itself, is evacuated without risk of wetting the linen. In the case where the urine is emitted into the purse itself, the latter is additionally lined with a strip of very flexible rubber, this is the case where the device must be applied to the female sex. The aforesaid assembly is supported by a belt surrounding the body and provided with straps passing between the legs.
The drawing appended to this specification shows, by way of example only, a urinary tract according to the invention.
As shown in the drawing, the urinary tract essentially comprises a purse 1, made of waterproofed fabric, intended to support the testicles, and at the front is attached to it at an appropriate height a rubber tube 2 which will receive the penis. .To prevent, when removing the container 4 for emptying, urine escaping from the pipe 3, the latter is mounted on a connector 5 comprising a valve 6 and inserted into the threaded cap 7 of the container. Thus before removing the latter, we will take the precaution of closing the valve 6. An air return pipe 8 also mounting on the connector 5, provided accordingly, is attached to the pipe 3; it will equalize the air pressure in the container 4.
The purse 1, with its accessories, is attached to a canvas belt 9, which is passed around the body, while loop laces 10 passing between the legs also keep the purse 1 in the required position.
It is understood that the apparatus described is proportioned according to the age or size of the user. In the event that it is intended for a person of the female sex, it will suffice to line the purse 1 with a very flexible rubber band.
