"FLYING SURGERY CAR. BY Dr. A. MOREAU."
In war or following accidents when a surgical operation is necessary it is always compulsory to bring the injured to a hospital. This transport takes a long time, in particular because special precautions are required; thanks to these moreover it does not fail to worsen the condition of the wounded.
The object of the present invention is a flying surgical car having the complete equipment of a large modern surgery room, capable of moving at high speed and thus making it possible to operate on the wounded on the spot. quickly, and with the maximum chance of success. Thanks to its possibility of rapid movements, the car according to the invention can, in the event of war alone, meet the surgical needs of an entire given front and of several field hospitals.
The drawing opposite shows by way of example a shape

realization of the object of the invention.
Figure 1 is an elevational view, Figure 2 a plan view of a flying surgical car consisting of a trailer which will be hitched to a suitable automotive tractor not shown.
The trailer is carried by two wheel sets and can therefore be unhitched without inconvenience.
It is made up of several compartments. One of them is the operating room itself; it contains a pump table with operating light 1, sinks 2 - 2, pedestal tables 3, stool 4, dressing buckets 5, a display cabinet 6, a boiler for hot water 7, an autoclave for wet sterilization 8, a Poupinel for hot air sterilization and a light X-ray apparatus 10. The heating and electric current requirements for the lighting and the X-ray apparatus are provided by a generator mounted on the automobile tractor. or by a battery of accumulators housed in the frame of the trailer.
Next to the operating room proper, there is a compartment 11 for surgical equipment and dressings which can serve at the same time as a toilet room for the surgeons and a compartment 12 arranged as a dark room for the surgery. development of X-ray images. Finally, in 13, a twin bedroom with wardrobes is planned to accommodate two doctors.
In order to limit heat loss, the walls are established using an insulating material, such as Masonite, celotex or other similar.
It is understood that the above description is only cited by way of example. By modifying one or the other particular arrangement or by replacing certain components with equivalents, it would not be departing from the scope of the invention which encompasses all other embodiments as claimed below. .
