"AUTOMATIC ARMING AND PERFECTIONING APPLICABLE TO ALL
HUNTING RIFLE SYSTEM "
The present patent relates to an applicable device. any platinum and "Anson" shotgun system comprising a piece of @@ mement making contact with the front (length) in an ad hoc mortise and a controlled cocking rod @ a coil spring disposed in a appropriate housing of the rocker in order to carry out automatic arming, because:
The percussion dogs arming themselves from then on by coil springs, the rocking of the gun is freed from this effort, then to obviate the drawbacks that present vusqu' present armaments of percussion dogs by rod.
We know that the continual hammering of all the ends of the armament parts and the friction that these same parts undergo in all rod arming systems, are per-

The end 15 of the arming rod IO is intended to come into contact with the hammer 16. In the housing 17, the arming rod 10 has a shoulder 14 serving as a guide and forming a stop at P the end d 'a coil spring
13, the other end of which rests on the annular part of a plug 12 threaded into 1. rocker 2 at the start of the and perforation 17 serving on the other hand as a guide for the arming rod 10.
The device operates as follows:
The COUD having been pulled the device is presented as shown in fig. 3, it is? -. say that the hammer 16 is shot and has come in contact with the end 15 of the armor rod 10.
At this moment if we open the weapon see fig. I the spring
13 which was compressed between the fixed ring 12 and the shoulder
14 of the cocking rod, relaxes by pushing it back. rod 10 towards the rear, the purpose of which is, on the one hand, to exert rearward traction on the arm 7 of the cocking piece 4 which, by pivoting in ¯5, force by its upper part 6 in contact with the table of block 1 of the barrels, the latter to tilt forward, a movement which is continued by their weight, on the other hand, to exert a thrust on the percussion hammer which, as a result, is tilted back until it is immobilized in the armed position.
When the rifle is closed, the cocking piece 4, stressed at 6 by the table of block 1 of the barrels, pivots clockwise, pulling its arm 7 forward and because of the rod 10 which passes from the position of FIG. 1 to that of fig. 2 by compressing by its shoulder
14 the coil spring 13 and leaving the hammer 16 which was cocked previously.
The rifle closed and ready for firing appears as shown in fig. 2
